| I've definitely been neglecting this thing... I know all of you loyal fans are upset and I'm so sorry. Kidding... So I'd just like to say that I would be nothing without my friends... I'm lucky to be surrounded with such wonderful people who support me and make me smile during the hard times and just in general. So kudos to all of you (you know who you are) for making life a little (or a lot) sweeter! I'd also like to say that I really enjoy eating. I think it might be my favorite activity. There's just so much good food in this world that I want to eat and I wouldn't want to miss anything that could potentially become a favorite. I'm lucky I'm not 500 pounds... that would kind of suck. Also, I'd really like to go see the Curious George movie so if anyone is remotely interested in it let me know so I don't go by myself and buy a lot of chocolate to keep me company! If you know me at all you know I love monkeys and I have a Curious George book and a new Curious George poster prominantly displayed in my room, along with a growing collection of stuffed monkeys. I'm just a kid trapped in a 20 year old body. So I played my guitar today for the first time in quite awhile and it was fun! I think I'll start playing more... maybe I just got a little burned out on it this summer (6 straight weeks of it at camp- but I loved it!) I should learn some cool songs... any suggestions? This is all really random, I just felt like I should write something... leave encouragement for future posts!

| Soooo I made the mistake of watching the Bachelor tonight and I got hooked. It was a flashback to freshman year when we had watch parties in our RA's room in Couch 7E and we would sit there screaming at the TV and crying when something sweet would happen. I like to think I've grown up a bit since then but deep down I know I haven't. Oh well! So the semester starts tomorrow... my goal is to prove to myself and others that I can handle 18 hours of class and 20 hours of work. Lord help me! Speaking of goals I have a few for the year... new year's resolutions if you will. The first is to eat better and not eat out so often. To the delight of my boyfriend I'll be trying to cook more to balance my diet and just to get a little practice. Kara and I have dinner dates every Tuesday though so that will be atleast one night cooking will be fun! My other resolution is (prepare yourself to hear something completely unoriginal) to exercise more. I know everyone says it but I have a good reason... I'm the maid of honor in my sister's wedding this summer and I need to look freakin awesome in my beautiful dress! I won't top her though... she will look AMAZING! Her dress is gorgeous and I only hope mine will be close to as pretty someday. But as for know I need to clean my room and get things ready for tomorrow. Too bad it's not fun like when we were little and we'd get up extra early to put on our new school outfits and take pictures for the first day... I'll be lucky just to be on time! Much love! Sarah

| Kevin's right, I do need to update. Maybe I'll make a habit of only writing on holidays... but I wouldn't want to disappoint yall, my loyal fans. Riiiggght. Anyways much has happened since Thanksgiving... like I finished another semester of college. Just 3 more semesters to go...woohoo! I got some decent grades this time around too, which made me (and the parentals) happy :) And Kara, Amanda and I survived Blevens THANK GOD! I think I owe my sanity to those girls... definitely a team effort.
So I'm here in Dallas with the fam (after a delightful trip to Kansas) and it's nice just relaxing and seeing c-town friends. I haven't kept up with many of them, but I sure do love the ones I have! But honestly I can't wait to be back in Norman for New Years with that wonderful boyfriend of mine and all those crazy Episcopalians from Canterbury! OH and Sonja's going to be in Dallas Monday and Tuesday so that will be fun!
But even more fun... CHRISTMAS is TOMORROW! YAY! The fun starts this afternoon with a family trip to the movies, then getting dressed up for church, eating our traditional Christmas Eve dinner, opening a present, then going to the service. I love seeing everyone I don't see during the year at my church and the end when the lights go out, we light our candles and sing Silent Night. I get chills... it's so festive :) Then tomorrow morning I will inevitably be the last one out of bed to see the massive amount of presents that have magically appeared under the tree overnight. And after unwrapping (and Mickey trying to eat the bags and boxes and tissue paper) we'll have cinnamon rolls and fruit and mimosas (it's tradition!) I heart Christmas!
OK I think this is long enough and I have a pecan pie to make, so Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to yall!
| Happy Turkey Day! I'm here in College Station at Jaclyn's house with my family and Ed and his family. (Ed=my future brother-in-law!) It's not cold down here, which is very nice. The house smells like Thanksgiving... stuffing, turkey, pies, carrots... I don't even know what all is cooking in that kitchen; I'm trying to stay out of the way by laying in the living room with the laptop. Of course there's football on TV to entertain the dads. Ed's actually in the kitchen, but I think he's causing more trouble than really helping. Ed's sister Vickie is here; she's a freshman at UNT and she's awesome... we have a lot in common, which is good, since she rode down here from Dallas with me and my parents. My cocker spaniel, Mickey, came with us too (he took some doggy downers before the car trip... yes, my dog was high.) He was pretty funny kind of stumbling around. Ed's family brought their chiuahua, Skip, too. He's adorable!
We're staying here through tomorrow, then we'll go back to Dallas and on Saturday (as tradition has it) we'll put up the Christmas tree. I'm getting my hait cut too (hopefully it'll be cute). Then I'll be back in Norman to see my John :) He's in Tulsa for the holiday :( Oh well, absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?
Well I'm out of interesting things to say and all these smells are making me hungry so I'm outta here... eat lots of turkey! And leave a comment!
